Ingredients:
Chicken 1/4 kg
Onion - 1
Tomato - 1
Curry leaves
Corriander leaves
Chilli powder
To grind 1:
Fennel seeds(sombu) - 1/4 tsp
Poppy seeds(kasa kasa) - 1/4 tsp
Pepper(milagu) - 1/4 tsp
Cumin seedsa(seeragam) - 1/4 tsp
coriander seeds(gundu malli) - 1/2 tsp
Cardamom(yelakai) - 1
Clove(kirambu) - 1
Cinnamon(pattai) - 1
To grind 2:
Ginger
Garlic
To grind 3:
coconut
Direction:
- Boil chicken for 20 minutes in a pan.
- In another pan take oil and add onion,tomato,curry leaves,corriander leaves.
- Add ginger garlic paste to this.
- Saute for 15 minutes.
- Now add chicken into this and also add the ground powder and pasted coconut.
- Then add chilli powder and salt as required.
- Saute them for 10 minutes,..
- And now,our chettinad chicken is ready.
Wow nice curry since i dont eat chicken , I think i am going to adopt it for making chettinad mushroom.. Will let u know once i try this. Absolutely tempting.
