Ingredients:
Cooked rice - 4 cups
Chana dal(kadalai paruppu)- 2 tsp
Urad dal(ulundhu) - 1 tsp
Red chillies - 2
curry leaves
Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
turmeric powder - 1 tsp
salt to taste
Oil - 2 tsp
ghee- 1/2 tsp
Cashew nuts
Pea nuts
Direction:
- In a pan heat ghee.
- At first add peanuts and fry them until they turn into light brown.
- Add cashew nuts and fry them.
- Remove it and keep in a plate.
- Heat oil in the pan and add mustard,cumin seed,chilli and curry leaves.
- When seeds starts to sputter,add chana dal and urad dal.
- Now sprinkle the turmeric powder,mix and saute for another 5 minutes.
- After it become cool,add lemon juice.
- Add the sauted ingredients,peanuts and cashews into the cooked rice.Mix well.
- Serve it with vathal,pickle etc.
