Spinach - 2 cups
Toor dal(thuvaram parupu) - 1/2 cup
Onion - 1 cup
Tomato - 3/4 cup
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
Red chilli - 2
curry powder - 1 tsp
Garlic - 3 nos.
Salt to taste
Direction:
- Pressure cook the dal in pressure cooker wiht turmeric powder.
- Take oil in a pan and put mustard seeds,cumin seeds,red chilli,onion.Saute well and add garlic and spinach.
- Close the pan until the spinach get half cooked.
- Now add the cooked dal in it.
- Then add curry powder and salt.
- You can eat this with chapathi or rice.
- I like this to put in rice with ghee..hmmmmm..great!
