Bottle gaurd
Moong dal - 1/2 cup
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Red chilli - 1
Sambar powder - 1 tsp
Onion - 1/2 cup
Tomato - 1 cup
Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
urad dal - 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Direction:
- Take 1 tsp of oil in a pan.Put mustard seeds,urad dal,onion and tomato.Saute well.
- Pressure cook the moong dal for 5 minutes.
- Add bottle gaurd and dal together to the pan.
- Add turmeric power,sambar powder and salt to this.
- Close the pan and allow to boil.
- In this we can also add channa dal.
- Many of us dont like this vegitable.It has purgative effect in it.
- We should add this atleast once in two weeks.
