Toor dal - 1/4 cup
Cauliflower - 2 cups
Tomato - 1
Sliced onion - 1/2 cup
Green chili - 3
Asafoetida
Mustard seeds
Cumin seeds
Pepper - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Direction:
- Pressure cook the dal (with excess water) with turmeric powder and asafoetida.
- After dal is cooked well,add cauliflower & salt and give a boil.
- Heat oil in a pan,add onion and saute well.
- After that add tomato & green chili and saute well.
- Once tomato mashed well,add them to cauliflower and dal water.
- Boil it for 10 minutes or cook till cauliflower cooks well.
- In the pan add some oil,splutter mustard seeds,cumin seeds and curry leaves.
- Add it to the soup.
- Finally sprinkle some pepper.
