Moong dal - 1/2 cup
Oats - 1 cup
Green chili - 2
Mustard seeds/Urad dal - 1/4 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Pepper - 1/4 tsp
Curry leaves
Direction:
- Dry fry the moong dal and pressure cook it for 1 whistle.
- Again dry fry the oats for 10 minutes and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan,add mustard seeds,urad dal,urry leaves,cumin seeds and pepper.
- Saute them for a while.
- Add little water and moong dal.
- Add the oats when dal starts to thicken.
- Add required amount of salt and serve hot with sambar.
