Ingredients:
Spinach - 3 cups
Black channa - 1/2 cup
Tomato - 2
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
Curry leaves
Green chili - 2
Ginger - a small piece
Sambar masala - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Direction:
- Pressure cook the channa for 3 whistle.
- Blend tomato,green chili and ginger.
- Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds,cumin seeds and curry leaves.
- Add the tomato paste and stir for 5 minutes.
- Cut the spinach into small size and add to the above paste.
- Add sambar masala and salt.
- Now add channa and allow to boil.
- Serve hot with rice or rotti.
Spinach and channa curry truly delicious and prefect side dish to enjoy without any guilt..yummm!!
