Chicken kuzhambu

Ingredients:

Chicken - 1/2 kg
Shredded coconut - 1 cup
Onion - 1 cup
Tomato - 1 cup
Mustard seeds
Clove - 1
Cinnamon - 1
Bay leaves - 1
Cashews - 1 tbsp
Oil - 2tbsp
Sambar powder - 2 tsp
Corriander powder - 1 tsp
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Salt to taste

Direction :

  • Cut the chicken into small pieces.
  • Grind the coconut and the cashews together.
  • Heat oil in pan, put clove,cinnamon,bay leaves,mustard seeds and onion.
  • Saute well the onion and add the tomato.
  • Add the ground paste.
  • Now add corriander powder,chilli powder,sambar powder and salt.
  • Add the chicken into this mixure and add enough water to it.
